On May 1, 2011 the Town of Middleborough took responsibility through the Permanent Cable Committee of the local PEG Access channels (Public, Education and Government channels).
The new municipal studio is called Middleborough Community
Cable Access Media (MCCAM). In 2019, MCCAM moved from the basement at the Town Hall to our newly renovated studio and media center at 1 South Main Street in the Town Hall Annex Building.
Channel Assignments Are on Comcast and Verizon:
MCCAM is in our new Community Media Center located right
in the heart of Downtown Middleborough at the Town Hall Annex,
1 South Main Street. The space is approximately 2200 square feet,
the former home of Eastern Bank.
We have been growing and adding more services we offer to the Middleborough Community. We have a studio, podcast room, and a training center ready for residents of Middleborough to use free of charge. Portable equipment is also still available for Access Users to borrow and the MCCAM staff are here for training. In the future we hope to add a kitchen studio, hold workshops for people of all ages and be a space for the Community to come and create! Reach out to us and see how you can become a local Access User here at MCCAM.
~ Karen Foye, Cable Access Director for MCCAM
